This new requirement will affect visitors to all parts of the UK, including England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
What is an ETA? The Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) is a digital permission required for eligible travelers to enter the UK without needing a visa. It is linked to the traveler’s passport and will be valid for two years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first. An ETA allows for multiple journeys of up to six months each within its validity period.
